About Us

History

PUFSC was founded in 1994 by Aline Attiyeh and Michelle Toering, two students who realized the need for ice time, lessons, and competitive and performance opportunities for figure skaters on campus. During their time at Princeton, the club grew, and student Caroline Gaffney established the synchronized skating team. PUFSC won Princeton’s Club Sport of the Year Prize in 1998 and again in 2017. Since the club’s inception in 1994, Princeton skaters have competed both individually and on the synchronized team in competitions across the nation.
